This is a delicious soft set jam recipe made with fresh black raspberries and our delicious and tart cherry Balsamic. This amazing recipe was sent in by one of our lovely clients Lyla H. Thank you Lyla for sharing this amazing treat with us all.
- 1 cup water
- Sugar to taste
- 2 pints of Black Raspberries
- 2 tbsp. Cherry Balsamic
Boil water and sugar together, stir until sugar is dissolved. Add raspberries and cook until raspberries pop, and liquid thickens (20 – 30 min at a simmer). Judge by the way syrup drips off back of spoon. Add 2 Tbsp. of Cherry Balsamic Vinegar and stir in. Take off heat. At this point you can press mixture thru a sieve to remove seeds or just spoon into container and refrigerate. Taste and enjoy! Add more balsamic if you want more of a tart kick. This recipe lasts about 7-10 days when refrigerated, less with freshly baked goods! Enjoy.
