These simple baked potato sticks will surely satisfy your craving for the taste of french fries, without the added fried affects to your health.
2 large russet potatoes
2 tablespoons Santa Fe Olive Oil & Balsamic Company’s olive oil of your choice… (the possibilities are unlimited when it comes to potatoes and our oils)
3/4 teaspoon coarse sea salt
Heat your oven to 450°. Cut the potatoes in half horizontally; cut each half into 1/3-inch-thick sticks and place in a bowl of cold water. Remove your potato sticks from the water and dry them thoroughly. Toss with olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Place the fries on a cookie sheet. Roast until browned and cooked through, turning occasionally, this will take 25 minutes.
